Clippard JSLV Series valves offer large flow capability with a relatively short stroke, and no cross-over between inlet and exhaust on the 3-way models. Unlike ball valves, sleeve valves require no space for a handle. They also provide flexibility in pipe connections and are available with either male or female threads or combinations of both.

    Pascal's Law Discovered by Frenchman Blaise Pascal, Pascal's law states that pressure applied anywhere in a confined incompressible fluid is transmitted equally in all directions throughout the fluid. Pascal's principle applies to incompressible fluids. One typical application can be found in most automotive repair shops that have a lift. Basically, air from an air compressor is applied to the top of the oil in a container and the oil then applies pressure to a sleeve/piston that lifts the car. This is the same principle found when using a hydraulic jack at home. However, the smaller cylinder must travel much farther than the larger lift cylinder. This allows the lifting of a heavy load with a small force, as in an auto hydraulic life, but of course there can be no multiplication of work, so in an ideal
