Technical Sales Coordinator

Clippard Instrument Laboratory, Inc., the leading pneumatic manufacturer in North America of pneumatic and electrical control components and systems, has an opportunity for a Technical Sales Coordinator to join our team. The principal function of the position is to provide technical support and product application assistance to regional sales managers, distributors and customers.

Job Tasks

• Answer technical phone calls and emails to provide answers/assistance on pneumatic components and systems

• Effectively communicate on project updates, sales leads and distributor activity to Regional Sales Managers (RSMs)

• Confer with RSMs and engineers to provide information to aid in application development and custom product specifications

• Participate in teaching role during customer and distributor training seminars

 

 

• Handle initial RMA (Return Material Authorization) calls and determine if covered under a warranty issue

• Notify RSM, Production Control and Engineering of RMAs

• Keep records on details of inquiries, comments and actions taken

• Adequately present product function and application to a variety of technically skilled audiences

• Analyze costs and set product/project pricing with appropriate gross margins

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience writing technical details
• Experience with presenting and engaging an audience (i.e. - webcast, YouTube)
